Using Music to Enhance Language Development

Show me a toddler who doesn’t like music and I’ll show you a dog who doesn’t bark at thunder! (Oh - that’s just my dog while I write this post … err.. anyway!). Toddlers love to move; they love feeling and listening to the beat; they love the instruments. Not only do they love it, but it’s GREAT for their language development! But why you may ask ;)

3 Reasons Music Helps with Language Development in Toddlers:

  1. build relationships with your child

2. increase attention skills, expand vocabulary

3. increase comprehension skills
