Take care of your AAC !

📢We NEED To take CARE of our AAC systems! 📢

Just as we talk about vocal hygiene and other support to using our mouth words, we want to show the same respect to our AAC systems!

What does this mean!?

1. Charge it!

2. Care for the cord!

3. Wipe the screen with an appropriate wipe or spray ... (at LEAST weekly)

4. Store it properly

5. Clean the case off

We HOPE our devices are dirty! WHY?! If the device is dirty, that means for the most part - it's being used! We see crumbs and smudges and food particles and that makes us very happy!😄 That means our AAC friend is using their device!

But we still need to take care of them!

Create a routine, create a plan! 📋

Ensure it stays clean and taken care of !😁
